Virtual reality makes vessel vision vivid

Virtual reality creates an immersive environment that's great for games, but could it be applied to medical procedures? Dr. Wayne Monsky, director of interventional radiology at Harborivew Medical Center, along with Ryan James and Dr. Steve Seslar, have developed a way to bring VR into patient care. The application is still in the test phase, but they think it will be an improvement from what's currently being used to perform procedures inside blood vessels.
