COVID-19 vaccine arrives at UW Medicine

UW Medicine received its first doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine early Monday morning. Some 3,900 doses were delivered and distributed to its four hospital campuses: UW Medical Center – Montlake, UW Medical Center – Northwest, Harborview Medical Center, and Valley Medical Center.

"It is a fresh start and we’re all looking forward to getting going and there’s a lot of work that a lot of individuals and healthcare providers have done at UW Medicine to prepare for this next step," says Steve Fijalka, UW Medicine's chief pharmacy officer.
