Vaccines? Not just for kids

Much news of late has focused on the benefits that children realize from immunizations. There are important vaccines that older adults should be aware of, too. John Lynch, medical director of infection control at Harborview Medical Center, says people over 50 should talk with their primary care provider about age-appropriate vaccines. • Shingles
  • Pneumoccocal disease
  • Tdap (tetanus, diptheria, and pertussis)
