COVID-19 update with Lisa Brandenburg
COVID-19 vaccinations are available for patients and the community by appointment and at walk-in clinics, according to Lisa Brandenburg, UW Medicine president, in her latest updates on UW Medicine's response to the pandemic. More than 80% of frontline staff are now vaccinated. This, and other protective measures and policies in place, make UW Medicine a safe place to obtain the care you need, Brandenburg said.
She also described how UW Medicine and its partners are reaching out to populations who have had difficulty getting vaccinated. Mobile outreach programs and a new vaccination site in Shoreline, Washington, are making it easier for people to get their COVID-19 immunizations.
