Teens and school shootings

Henry Berman, a clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, discusses how a changing job market, violent video games, the media, and the availability of guns has shaped teens.

Berman, the author of “Teens and their Doctors: The Story of the Development of Adolescent Medicine” (2017), has been seeing teens since the 1970s and trained with some of the leaders in adolescent medicine. He practices at Seattle Children's.
