Protect your noggin when sledding

People put helmets on for skiing and snowboarding, but not many think about it when they go sledding.  On Monday, Feb. 4, Harborview Medical Center emergency physicians treated a 14-year-old who had collided with a moving car. The teen is going to be be OK, but a helmet improves those odds for sledders.

Beth Ebel, a UW Medicine pediatrician, gives advice on what parents and kids can do. Kelly Delahunty, a mom and registered nurse, explains why she's taught her daughters to wear helmets while sledding.
