Lowest COVID-19 patient census since outbreak began

UW Medicine reports the lowest number of hospitalized COVID-19 positive patients since the crisis began.

"In fact, a couple of our hospitals have zero or one covid patient and we only have 18 across the entire system," says Lisa Brandenburg, president of UW Medicine hospitals and clinics.

Even so, Brandenburg explains the hospitals are still ready to respond if we see another surge. In the video below, Brandenburg talks about the many measures that are being taken to keep patients and staff safe, as well as the process for expanding services as the community begins to open up more.
