Kids walk to school? Get them there safely.

B-roll of Seattle street scenes and Dr. Beth Ebel offers tips for parents whose children walk to school:  Talk with your kids about their route, where they choose to cross streets, and the distraction of cell phones. It's information that kids may not consistently apply until they are age 10 or 11, she says, so a child's maturity should be considered in deciding when they can safely get to and from school alone.
