Hear from new interim CEO Dr. Tim Dellit

Dr. Tim Dellit began his appointment today as UW Medicine's interim CEO and interim dean of the University of Washington School of Medicine.  He begins his tenure with a focus on the organizations' people who contribute to clinical care, pursue medical research, and train the next generation of clinicians, he said.

"Our people are our greatest resource. They are the foundation upon which we have to be able to build our outstanding clinical education and research programs. Without our people that simply can't exist. And so, the well-being and resilience of our people has to be our number one priority," said Dellit. "I came here 21 years ago for my infectious disease fellowship and stayed here because of the people and the mission to improve the health of the public."
