Finding childcare options for UW Medicine employees

As children prepare for a very different kind of back-to-school this year, UW Medicine is also working to help employees navigate this autumn's  childcare needs.

"We know it’s a big concern for many of our employees who have school-age children, and that school will still be virtual this fall. So we have a special UW Medicine team focused on just that issue," says Lisa Brandenburg, president of UW Medicine Hospitals & Clinics.

In this update, she also discusses why now is a good time to come in for elective procedures and why it's important to get a flu vaccine this year.
