Auburn COVID testing site transitions to walk-in

ADA accommodations will be available at the test site for people who are unable to leave their vehicles.

On Aug. 11, UW Medicine will transition the Auburn drive-through COVID-19 test site to a walk-up test site. In preparation for this change, the Auburn test site will be closed Monday, Aug. 8, through Wednesday, Aug.10.

This COVID testing site is located at 2400 Perimeter Road, Auburn, WA 98001.

After the site transition, UW Medicine Auburn COVID-19 test site’s hours of operation will remain Monday through Saturday,  9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The site will continue to offer no-cost, accessible and highly accurate Nucleic Acid Amplification Testing (NAAT) for the community. Results are available within 72 hours. Current result turnaround times can be viewed by visiting:

http://depts.washington.edu/labmed/covid19/ .

For those people unable to leave their vehicles, there will be ADA parking signs in the patient parking lot with a phone number to reach the test site staff. When called, test site staff will come out to your vehicle to perform the nasal swab.

The test site strongly encourages appointments, but will continue to accommodate walk-ins. You can register for an appointment by visiting

Testing is available to everyone, with or without identification, and regardless of immigration status.

UW Medicine is extremely grateful for the continued partnership with Boeing.
