Forbes names UW Medicine among state's best workplaces

In its 2022 list of “America’s Best Employers By State,” Forbes has ranked UW Medicine as the top healthcare system and third overall best workplace in Washington state. This year’s rankings are based on a survey of 70,000 employees nationally and include 1,382 employers that received the most recommendations. In addition to questions about fair pay, safe working conditions and an inclusive culture, the survey also covered the wage gap for women and initiatives around diversity, equity and inclusion.
