UW Medicine president discusses change in visiting policy

Starting March 11, UW Medicine will temporarily suspend routine visiting with patients during the coronavirus outbreak. The new policy will limit visitors to UW Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center, and Valley Medical Center. 

"This is a difficult decision. It’s not an easy decision to make, but it is critically important that we keep our patients safe during this outbreak," said Lisa Brandenburg, president of UW Medicine hospitals and clinics.
