UW Medicine implements new mask policy, triage tents
UW Medicine is rolling out a new masking policy that expands the use of masks to staff beyond those who provide direct care to COVID-19 patients. That includes employees in departments such as security, admitting, and food and nutrition services.
Dr. John Lynch, medical director of infection control at Harborview Medical Center, explains the change in policy as well as the new triage tents outside of hospitals' emergency departments.
