Former NBA player Spencer Hawes donates PPE

Spencer Hawes donated 25,000 surgical masks yesterday, June 2, to UW Medicine at the donation drop-off center near University Village in Seattle.  Hawes made the donation to support UW Medicine’s frontline workers in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hawes was joined by UW Medicine sports medicine specialist Jonathan Drezner, whose past care enabled Hawes to reclaim his love of recreational golf.
