Forty-five scientists have been named to the Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers 2025 list for work conducted over the past few years at the UW School of Medicine or the Fred Hutch Cancer Center. The evaluation and selection for the list draws on data from the Web of Science citation index, together with analysis performed by bibliometric experts and data scientists at the Institute for Scientific Information at Clarivate.
Being highly cited in the papers of other researchers is one indication of the influence of a scientist’s published work on the greater scientific community.
