Report details bullying’s scale and suggests new interventions

UW Medicine researcher leads study of 'major public health problem'

A landmark report declares bullying to be a serious public-health threat.  The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine report explores the scale and shifting contexts of such youth-based aggression in the United States, as well as the effects on all parties involved.

Dr. Frederick Rivara, a University of Washington professor of pediatrics and a longtime UW Medicine researcher, chaired the committee that published the paper
