Opinion: Prof joins dissent of Mo. tactics toward med training

UW Nursing dean emerita co-authors letter condemning legislation to intervene in abortion-related education, research

A letter from eight academic faculty across the nation criticized the Missouri General Assembly for its efforts to create laws that would halt clinical training and research related to abortion and women's reproductive health.

The letter was signed by Nancy Woods, professor and dean emerita in the University of Washington School of Nursing.
