If Health Olympics existed, U.S. would fail, UW specialists say

Nation has slid since 1952, when its health would've won most medals

If national health was an Olympic-level competition, the United States would be eliminated in the trials, unable to qualify for the finals competition.

That's the conclusion of two University of Washington lecturers in the School of Public Health, MaryAnn Mercer and Stephen Bezruchka.
