Soundbites: Breast density notification

This year Washington state joined 33 other states in the nation by passing a breast density notification law, which requires radiologists to tell women when their mammograms indicate dense breast tissue. Dense breast tissue makes it more difficult to spot potential tumors on a mammogram. In these soundbites, UW Medicine radiologist Dr. Janie Lee talks about the new law and why it's important.

Terms of appropriate usage of file downloads
