Parents surveyed on tackling in youth football

As lawmakers in a number of states including Massachusetts and Illinois discuss age restrictions for tackle football, researchers just published a survey with parents' views on the topic. Sara Chrisman with the Sports Insitute at UW Medicine says 61 percent of parents were in favor of age restrictions, 24 percent would maybe support it, and 15 percent were opposed. This information can help shape public discussion around the topic. See related news release.
