Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease affects more young adults
Unrelated to alcohol, sugar consumption is the root of most liver transplants in young Americans, a recent study shows.
Dr. Judy Chen of UW Medicine's Weight Loss Management Center, talks about this phenomenon and urges everyone to be kinder to their liver and more closely monitor their sugar intake.
