Measles vaccine legislation is now on Gov. Jay Inslee's desk. He has expressed support for limiting exemptions such as the one in the bill, which would eliminate Washington state parents' ability to claim a personal belief exemption to avoid having their children immunized against measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR). Religious and medical exemptions would remain.
