Health specialist offers advice on quitting vaping
Nicotine is an incredibly addictive substance and one JUULpod, a vaping device brand, has as much nicotine as 20 cigarettes.
Patricia Atwater, the director of health promotion at Hall Health Center, runs a tobacco-cessation program called Tobacco Talk. She says she's been seeing more students come in trying to quit vaping nicotine substances. While there isn't a lot of research about how to quit vaping in particular or treating nicotine dependence among young adults, Atwater explains there are effective ways to quit.
