Two colds at once? Really?
It's uncommon, but yes, you can suffer from two different colds simultaneously, scientists say.
Lance Stewart, a virologist at the UW Medicine Institute for Protein Design in Seattle, confirmed research findings that people can be infected with a rhinovirus and a second virus.
Depending on the viral sources, you might feel about the same with two colds as with one, or much worse, he said. "It would really depend on the combination of viruses," Stewart told Live Science.
